Smart speakers and voice technology are improving, but many people are still underestimating their potential for advertising and other tasks, said Will Hall, the chief creative officer at Rain, a marketing agency that helps companies with voice and audio strategies.
Artificial intelligence in particular benefits from increased usage and scale, Hall said. As the market for voice technology grows, assistants like Alexa get smarter with use, and can now anticipate the intent behind voice requests.
